Nyang-Nyang

Nyang-Nyang in Bali (The Bukit) is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Nov-April (Wet Season) provides optimum time of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the north. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. A right hand reef. Best around mid tide. Sometimes crowded. Rocks are a hazard.

Nyang-nyang, what a “unique” name, It’s located at South Bali just about 2 or 3 km from Uluwatu temple.
......... However,  on our way back climbing the stair later, no one seems to bother confirming it :-) .

Sure, it was exhausting but compensated  by the view of the beach.  You could immediately see the difference with the regular beach like Kuta, the wide area of white sand, coral reefs along the beach, and there were nobody there but us.

Rumor has it, the beach is a “secret paradise” for surfer,  hmm yeah  I could tell from the high waves.  It could be a great place  for pro surfers.  However, having go trough the stair bringing a surfboard along,  with that high wave and coral reefs,  I was not surprised to find there were were nobody surfing there or perhaps was it  not a good time for surfing? Hmm, I don’t really know.

Anyway what I love the most was taking close up pictures of the plants and small animals.  I can’t wait for the next spot :)
